FRENCH ELEGANCE MEETS THE RELAXED LIFESTYLE OF THE SOUTH SEAS

French Polynesia, the French overseas territory in the South Pacific, lies pretty much in the middle between South America and Australia . The archipelago of volcanic origin consists of 118 islands such as Bora Bora , Tahiti and Moorea .

Typical are the coral-lined lagoons , hotels in the form of elegant stilt houses and the exotic landscapes . The incomparable play of colors on the islands has not least inspired the expressionist painter Gauguin .

So what should you not miss out on? Relaxed hikes and lagoon tours , sweet pineapples in the market and fresh fish and seafood from the grill.
